injectors services

Why is servicing your injectors so important?

Fuel injectors play a critical role in your engine’s performance by delivering the precise amount of fuel needed for efficient combustion. Over time, deposits build up inside the injectors, even when using high-quality fuel.

When injectors become restricted, your vehicle can lose power, fuel economy drops, and drivability issues like rough idle, hesitation, or misfires may occur. If left untreated, this added strain can lead to premature engine wear and expensive repairs.

Our service

For our injector service, each injector is tested using a specialized machine with 99% pure alcohol to evaluate performance and spray pattern. This allows us to diagnose issues such as intermittent operation, fuel leaks, or injectors stuck open.

After testing, we carefully inspect all O-rings and seals. If any require replacement, it will be provided at an additional cost. We also remove the injector’s internal micro filter, which can become clogged and affect fuel delivery.

Injectors are then cleaned for 1 hour and 30 minutes using a specialized ultrasonic cleaning process, along with a high-quality cleaning solution specifically designed to remove deposits and thoroughly clean the injector’s internal system. After cleaning, we retest the injectors to compare performance before and after service. Once the injector is performing correctly, a new micro filter is installed, and the injector is carefully packaged for customer delivery.

When do you need this service?

You may require injector cleaning and testing if you notice:

  • Rough idling or engine misfires

  • Poor fuel economy or decreased performance

  • Hard starting or stalling

  • Fuel leaks or a strong fuel smell

  • Check Engine Light related to fuel delivery

Regular maintenance is also recommended:

  • For boats, every 200 hours of operation.

  • If the fuel system has fuel mixed with water, bad fuel or a combination with VST service
